In this “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of All Your Perfects, a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

I kept hearing good things about this book online and I was like “meh, why not try it”. When I tell you this was a good book I mean it. It’s the perfect balance book. I loved it so so so much. The end did make me cry which is a good sign and parts also gave me butterflies. Hope to see you soon in Boston, where everything is better.♥️

A very sad book about the profound and long lasting impact of domestic abuse. Also full of hope and tender mercies as the cycle of abuse ends. Sadly, I related in so many ways to this story, and recognized the shame, guilt, anger, grief, and relief experienced between the love and hate, good and evil. Thought provoking and mesmerizing. Admire the author’s courage in sharing her personal story, and the respect shown for her own mother in getting her permission to share her story.

Okay so I started this book one evening with the intention of finishing it over the next few days. Let’s say that didn’t happen. I finished the whole book over night even though I had work the next day. THATS how captivating this book is. A page turner if I ever read one.

This book makes you so invested in the characters and the story line. I don’t want to give a lot a way but it gives you a lot insight. I would rate it 10 stars if I could.

Just read it. Don’t think twice about it. I will say this, though. If you get overly attached to characters in a book, & feel things on a deeper level than most people, get ready to have major withdrawals from this book once you finish it. I am sitting here, wondering if I will ever be okay again.
  • Absolute page-turner!

I’m a big thriller fan, and I was introduced to this author by a reading suggestion of Verity from a book club/page. I decided to give this one a shot based on its reviews, and I absolutely loved it. I’m an avid reader, and this is in my Top 5 Ever, if not my number one. The storyline was so well developed, the characters were perfectly created, and I couldn’t put it down. I’ve never felt so torn over who to want the main character with! Excellent work.

  • A little disappointed

I loved the beginning of this book along with the character dynamics. However I found the plot quite predictable, I successfully predicted almost every major event in the book. The resolution felt empty and lacking.
