This was an entertaining and enjoyable read. It’s a story of two women, so different; yet so alike carving out new lives for themselves. It’s a story of friendship and family that is born of that strong bond of friendship. I will definitely read the next book in the series!

Way too long and wordy for such a simple book
  • Not worth it

Very long and drawn out, the ending was anything but climatic.

A lot happens to Ann over 2 years as she learns to love and trust again. Making use of her skills and knowledge in a risky business helps renew her self confidence.

I really liked this novel. The characters were real and well developed. I kept thinking this would make a great tv series. In case it is adapted for tv, the ongoing story of behind the scene Hollywood connection would be a hit with the audience.
  • Not a romance novel

It was a good book. I don’t really feel belongs in the romance genre. It’s a story about two friends overcoming obstacles. Both women do meet men during the course of the book but those relationships were not what the book is about. Too much detail is put on the guests and their requests.
